Burnage RFC have agreed to allow the Mozzies to use their facilities for training and home matches for season 2010. Those Mozzies returning to the club will be happy to know that this year (as opposed to previous years!) we will have high quality pitches, change rooms that are open, and most importantly...*drum roll*.... A BAR!! Yes, a fully licensed and operational BAR will be open at all times when the Mozzies train and play.
Burnage is a small grass-roots rugby club that relies heavily on revenue from its bar for income. As such, whatever contribution we can make to that not only helps support Burnage, but will also help to establish a long lasting relationship between our two clubs that will see us have a home for good. Therefore, please make the effort to stick around after our training for a drink or two if possible.

World Footy News
World Footy News, the website for 'Independent News and Views from the International Aussie Rules Community' have published a discussion they had with our President, Kat. In the article Kat talks about what to expect this year from the Mozzies.
The site is a good read to find out what's going on in the Aussie Rules world, so go and have a look!
Cardiff Tournament
The Mozzies first hit out of the season was a pre-season tournament organised by the WARFL. We played 4 games and won 3 of them, losing to the winners Nottingham in a close fought game.
Overall, it was a great hit-out, and it was great to see the new players fitting seam-lessly in to the line-up.
No write-up by the Mozzies, but you can read all about it at the World Footy News site.
